“Growing Your International Sales Online” workshop was presented on November 29, 2018. The main focus of the workshop was to address the importance of why to grow your sales, brand, and business internationally. It is estimated that the global online retail market (not including B2B) will be a $4 trillion dollar market in 2020, with 50%, or $2 trillion of the market in China. The workshop offered assistance in developing a platform to position your company to keep pace with your online international presence. Opportunities to learn how to leverage your online presence to increase your brand awareness, visibility, and sales in your international target markets were presented, including the importance of localized websites, social media, and the California State Trade Expansion Program. California announced exciting grant programs, to support online marketing. The CITD teamed up with IBT Online to educate small businesses on how to help your international prospects, customers and business partners find you, understand your company, and do business with you by giving them an online local user experience in their language(s) and market(s).
